An individual coursework project involved developing a multithreaded server and client for a chat system in Java. This included using inbuilt APIs, allowing the modification of default ports and IP addresses from the command line.
As part of my summer , I was self motivated to learn Python so I did a online Python bootcamp on udemy in which I created a tic tac toe game as part of the course by creating functions and using user input to play the game.
A group coursework project as part of the System Architecture module, involving the Arduino board in which we had to create the game and code the funcitonality of the game. My role was mostly to create the game so work on the hardware side of the project and then test the code with it. Doing this project I learnt how to work with hardware and how to use it with a piece of code.
A group coursework project that involved the production and experimental testing of a working software solution. The domain of this project was Personal Informatics (PI). We had to produce a written report that explained and analysed our solution and a short film to demonstrate it. We had to follow a Scrum Agile approach. We designed and produced an app for students to track their revision session, set tasks, goals and then use the data to show the best time to make the most out of their study. As the leader of the group, my role was to assign tasks and make sure we achieved them for the weekly sprints. On top of that, I was in charge of creating the whole report and doing unit/integration testing of our java app.
